Call for young composers
Do you write or make up your own tunes?
Would you love the opportunity to explore your creation further with an interesting mix of live musicians to work with?
Are you open to exploring music in directions you may not have thought of before?
If the answer to the questions above is yes then this project may well be for you.
Who are you?
You need to be aged 16-21 years and have an interest in music.
You do not need to be classically trained or be part of any particular genre of music. Whether you love classical, folk, jazz, electronica or make up tunes and songs in a pop/rock idiom this project could be for you.
You do not need to be able to read or score music but you will need to be able to communicate your ideas. You will get help doing this as part of the process.
If you are interested in applying please find more information here. The closing date for applications is Friday 10th November 12noon.
