Lincolnshire Young Designer of the Year is back for its 3rd year. Celebrating the creativity of students in Lincolnshire, the competition aims to support, celebrate and commend the rising talent of young people in our county.
The competition is open to all young people based in Lincolnshire in Key Stages 3-5, from schools and home-schools.
To enter the competition each student must submit an art/design project that they have worked on independently. Students must present a strong piece of design work or 3 pages/photos from their portfolios, showing creativity, inventiveness, high quality concepts, designs and independent thinking. We welcome projects that use various disciplines and materials but with a strong underpinning 'design' focus. The judges will be looking for those who successfully show the development of a project from beginning to end.
The competition is shortlisted by an independent selection panel consisting of supporters of NCCD and art and design consultants. The judges will anonymously shortlist the entries selecting up to 35 projects which will be exhibited in NCCD's Roof Gallery for 4 days from Thu 29 Jun - Sun 2 Jul 2017.
