MUSIC IN THE MARKET PLACE IS BACK!

Music in the MarketPlace returns for a fifth year to Spalding's Market Place. An afternoon full of live music from local artists along with various activities for all the family. Musician's like Squeaky Green Cleans, Jordon Starkey and Seabiscuit will be joined by The Ultraviolet, Tommy Loose, The Wayfarers, Lucinda Flynn to perform throughout the afternoon.

Introducing Tommy Loose:

Tommy is an accomplished musician, playing both solo and with various musical outfits all over the UK, as well as in Poland, France, Germany and Holland. He plays guitar, sings and writes music.

He plays live gigs whenever he gets the opportunity, pursuing both his solo career and continuing his collaborative work. Tommy is also a dedicated music teacher, tutoring his student in a variety of instruments.

"Last year, I was fortunate enough to play main stage at the South Holland Centre in Spalding, supporting the wonderful Cara Dillon - the biggest audience I had played solo to, around 350 people. Afterwards, a man came up to me in the bar and paid me the greatest compliment yet, from my 22 year career of playing live. He said - 'of all the guitarists I've seen, you are definitely, one of them."
