Opportunity - Emerging Artists' Development Worker

LOV is about to announce a scheme – Connected Creatives – to support emerging artists of all disciplines across the county, who are at the first stages of their career. The scheme will be open to individuals, or to groups such as theatre companies or visual arts collectives. Linked to the scheme, but with a broader remit, is a year-long Creative Support Programme.

We need a supportive and well-informed Development Worker who will shape, develop and deliver these activities.

The Emerging Artists’ Development Worker will collaborate with LOV’s Project Manager to deliver on two main aims:

  • Providing tailored support to the successful bursary recipients, including signposting to opportunities, mentoring, checking in on their progress and monitoring their expenditure.
  • Developing and delivering our Creative Support Programme, which will be open to the wider Lincolnshire creative community, and which will also be available online. This will involve planning the programme and delivering it, including identifying and engaging workshop leaders, arranging in-person spaces, and event managing the actual workshops, training and discussions.
