Overview
Connecting Communities Creative Grants are being awarded by Lincolnshire One Venues, made possible by funding from the Paul Hamlyn and Esmee Fairbairn Foundations and hosted by the University of Lincoln. The application deadline is midday 23 June 2023.
Individuals and groups that exist to allow their members or communities to take part in creative cultural activities are eligible to apply for a Creative Grant of between £500 and £3000. Individuals and groups of any artistic or creative discipline may apply. This can be for art projects of up to 100% of the project costs.
The project supports nine network venues across the county:

Background
The LOV Connecting Communities project is in its final year. We work to support, sustain and develop creativity across the whole county in partnership with our member venues. Our projects actively engage with communities, cultivating strong relationships and developing ambitious participatory programmes.
Connecting Communities is broadly divided into three strands:
Intergenerational – uniting people across the generations in a love for creative activity and celebrating what people of different age groups can learn from each other and what they have in common.
Disabled People and those with Access Needs – providing opportunities for all to link with local venues and to create inspiring artworks or activities in the community.
Young Children and Families – introducing the next generation to creativity and the arts. By young we mean 0 – 12 years old.
Criteria to participate in Creative Grants, events/projects must:
Be participatory and creative.
Be free to attend for participants.
Focus on working with communities in areas around our venues across Lincolnshire.
Be relevant to at least one of our three work strands: families with young children, intergenerational work or working with residents with disabilities and access needs.
Take place in Lincolnshire between 1 July and 15 November 2023.
