Get the Gig

Exclusively for Schools & Colleges, ‘Get the Gig’ is a day designed to inspire, encourage and help develop the skills of young people in Lincolnshire, interested in a career in music.

The day will consist of 3 different talks/workshops, hosted by industry professionals and experts, covering a wide range of topics within the business.

Our target age audience is 12-18, as we feel it will benefit these students best, although we can make room for exceptions if needed.

Tickets for the event will be £3.50 per student but teachers and support staff will be given free entry.

The day will run from 9:30am – 3:00pm with time for each participant to take part in all workshops/talks on the day.

LOVFILM presents: Loving Vincent (12A)

LOVFILM presents is a programme of the best upcoming independent film releases with extras! Coordinated and programmed by a group of young people from the South Holland area.

The world’s first fully painted feature film, Loving Vincent is about the life and mysterious death of the infamous artist Vincent Van Gogh.

More than six years in the making with the help of 125 specially trained painters, Loving Vincent is a uniquely animated film composed of 65,000 painted frames. Drawn from meticulous research and inspired by Van Gogh’s masterpieces, subjects, and 800 personal letters.

A must see for film and art lovers alike starring Helen McCrory, Saoirse Ronan, Chris O’Dowd and Aidan Turner.

BBFC Advice: Suicide theme, infrequent moderate sex, injury detail.

What Once Was Ours

An immersive new show about identity and belonging. Brought to you by Zest Theatre and Half Moon Theatre.

Katie and Callum couldn’t be any more distant and disconnected: different heritage, different cities, different opportunities. Except there is one thing they’ll always have in common: Dad. What happens when Callum suddenly turns up in desperate need of help?

Created against the background of Brexit, What Once Was Ours explores how politics and national values impact on the complex lives of one family. Striking original music and immersive design combine to create this powerful new production for young people.
