Riverhead Producers visit Norwich Arts Centre!

On the 9th September, the Riverhead Producers set off to Norwich Arts Centre to see up-and-coming musician Kevin Pearce. Kevin is a Folk artist currently promoting his second album, 'Matthew Hopkins and the Wormhole'. The album is split into two acts - the first act being the original recordings, and the second an electronic reworking of the album by Dean Honer.

The Journey took around three hours - but it was definitely worth it. The venue looked amazing, especially the main room, where we got to hear some of the soundcheck before the show. We also got to speak to Kevin himself, and the Arts Centre's director, Pasco. The talk was really interesting. They gave us lots of helpful tips for putting on events, networking, and our potential future careers!

After getting some pizza, we headed back to the venue and saw Kevin Pearce play live. His set was a mix of his solo work and some songs with a full-band lineup. The backdrop on stage was a projection of the film 'The Witchfinder General', which was a cool idea. We really enjoyed his sound and the concept in general, and we think the evening was a great success!
